Aviation

Since our founding in 1981, we have enjoyed the intricacies and challenges of the aviation insurance industry. Through direct contracts with the largest Aviation Insurance Companies, and preferred access through the surplus lines industry, Tropp & Company is uniquely positioned to service the aircraft and aircraft products manufacturing industries.

Aircraft Industry

Specializing in Part 91 and Part 135 operations, Tropp & Company provides unique service to our clients who own and operate aircraft.

Part 91 Operators

We understand that Part 91 Operators often have multiple decision makers involved in the insurance placement process. From Chief Pilot to CFO, Tropp & Company keeps the goals and direction of all interested parties in balance while placing coverage.

Part 135 Operators

The Part 135 industry is traditionally more complex than a corporate flight department. Part time pilots, FBO operations, fuel sales, high aircraft hours, and a desire to turn a profit are all issues that Tropp & Company is sensitive to. We work with insurance companies to develop a program that works best for our client, and provide safety and risk management services to help reduce the exposure to loss.

Aircraft Products Liability

The standard Products Liability policy excludes losses related to parts made for the aircraft or aerospace industry. The potential for large catastrophe scares away many retail insurance companies.

Tropp & Company has 25 years of experience in placing aircraft products liability policies for companies with sales in this industry ranging from $10,000 to $500,000,000. We work with insurance company underwriters to create a program that makes financial sense, while providing protection against disaster for our client companies.
